Design of Part of ICT Infrastructure Migration to the Data Center
Kočíbová, Iveta ; Čada, Lukáš (referee) ; Ondrák, Viktor (advisor)
This Master Thesis deals with the design of part of ICT infrastructure migration of two sites of the international company to the external data center. It analyzes the current status of company ICT, describes the virtualization infrastructure and its operational costs. Main part of the Thesis describes a possible solution of migration of virtualization infrastructure to external data center by using project management tools and methods. Finally, the Thesis summarizes project benefits for the company.
Design of laborotory high-speed system usage
Benda, Ondřej ; Polívka, Michal (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
This thesis deals with high-speed communication equipment based on Cisco 2821. Includes description of facilities, physical and logical diagrams, instructions for basic orientation in the operating system Cisco IOS, and the procedure for the preparation of the workplace. Further in this document, there are three laboratory task on the topic of MPLS IP, Traffic engineering with MPLS and Circuit emulation over IP. Each task includes introduction, instructions for the elaboration, the question of the task, desired outcome and brief guide for teachers.
Protocols Analysis of CISCO Networks
Karlík, Martin ; Kenyeres, Martin (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
ABSTRACT Bc.Karlík, Martin Department of Telecommunications, Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication, Brno University of Technology. Analysis of CISCO networking protocols This semestral thesis is focused on CISCO networks and protocols like MPLS, BGP, Ipv4, Ipv6, Multicast – sprase / dense mode. The task was study of those protocols and design and implement lab excercise with one of those protocols by using free network simulator GNS3. In this excercise is used CISCO router 3745.
Quality of service assurance using the MPLS protocol
Henzl, Václav ; Novotný, Vít (referee) ; Hošek, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this semestral thesis is to create a MPLS network model using OPNET Modeler program and consecutive simulation of this network behavior with focus on quality of service assurance. This project contains also theoretical introduction to the MPLS network problematic and quality of service assurance - hereafter it is focused on simulation and analysis of data flows in extended communication network model with focus on Voice Over IP parameters. This thesis is discovering attributes of MPLS with respect to network traffc.
Evaluation of MPLS approach as a WAN technology for data transmissions in critical information infrastructure
Formánek, Juraj ; Blažek, Petr (referee) ; Fujdiak, Radek (advisor)
Thesis deals by using MPLS technology in energy critical information infrastructure and its comparison with another modern approach in the area of the WAN management. For this purpose was chosen a Software-defined Wide Area Network technology. This thesis contains theoretical description and practical tests of particular MPLS technologies on the WAN topology, which is considered as a virtual real topology of the EG.D’s company. Test were simulated in GNS3 emulator, using Cisco routers. Practical test were firstly focused on availability test when link or node failure occurs and secondly on route- reflector failures. Conclusion sums up appropriate approach for data transmissions in critical information infrastructure based on informations or practical test in this thesis.
MultiProtocol Label Switching technology in Ethernet networks
Kiška, Martin ; Vlček, Lukáš (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
In the introduction of this thesis the reasons for transition from older to a new technology called MultiProtocol Label Switching are mentioned – the modern technology enables simple network extension. The theoretical part contains basic principles of this techno- logy and their practical application for supplying private networks to the customers using provider’s network. In practical part packets are analyzed considering the theory. In addi- tion. All the technologies tested on a real network. Experience gained while working on this thesis are assessed during creating laboratory task for class Architecture of Networks intended for students of Bachelor’s study programme.
New trends in data network design
Hlavatý, Jindřich ; Zeman, Václav (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
are used. In the theoretical part I analyse some basic network protocols and their gradual development, VLANs and Spanning Tree Protocol, MPLS protocol and other. There are described parameters for the design of new networks and the models networks and their various are used, the network with a new architecture and a software-defined network (SDN),too. The practical part deals with designed laboratory exercises for teaching students. The laboratory experiments are always divided into several tasks. They are formed even students ignorant or less familiar with the issue could configure and test it.

Advanced Utilization of CISCO Technology
Mojžiš, Ľubomír ; Polívka, Michal (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with a high- speed communication system CISCO, which is situated in the laboratory SC5.35. Three laboratory exercises are created in this thesis. The first laboratory exercise is concerning the quality of service in MPLS network with respect to VoIP service, the second one is dealing with the appropriate security of this network and there is the communication between the telephone networks through the MPLS network put into service in the third exercise. Every exercise contains the theoretical analysis of the themes, the procedure for elaboration, the procedure for the tutor and the demonstration of the model elaboration.
QoS in IP network with the help of OMNeT++ simulation tool
Hudec, Lukáš ; Mlýnek, Petr (referee) ; Růčka, Lukáš (advisor)
The content of this thesis is giving information about the network simulator OMNeT++ and its superstructure INET Framework. In this thesis a sample simulation of IP network with the help of simulation package INET Framework is realized on this theme. The thesis also deals with analysis of possibilities, how to assure quality service in IP networks and subsequently implementation quality of service in surrounding of network simulator OMNeT++ and its superstructure INET Framework. The implementation is accomplished by two methods. The first method is implementation of differential service, in other words DiffServ, with the help of change the behavior of output. This change rest in sorting of data packets to different queues by their device priority. The second method shows principles of the technology MPLS and also function code protocol OSPF. The MPLS technology is realized by special routers with implemented moduls reservation protocol.
